Amatia / Contractor management

Trust commits us to caring for one another.

Combine document verification with a Bayesian model that reads operational signals to guide follow-up.

Let's talk about Contractors

What you can do with Amatia

Read the signals each contractor leaves: documents, timing, actions and consistency. Amatia's Bayesian maturity model relates risk and trust to help focus attention where it is needed.

01

Human and AI-assisted document verification

Combine the platform with a manual and AI-assisted document review service, according to your operational scope.

02

History, delays and inconsistencies

Consider what is recorded as well as omissions, delays and inconsistencies. The assessment changes with context and new evidence.

03

Actions based on risk and trust

Use the risk and trust position to guide actions and commitments, and determine how closely to review.

Maturity model

Assess risk and trust based on each contractor's evidence.

An event is not interpreted in isolation. Signals and the history of the relationship help decide where to focus follow-up.

A new contractor starts without a penalty.

The starting point is the center. A lack of history is not penalized: evidence will add context to the relationship.

An example in practice

Document verification · Bogotá airport · Historical experience

Contractor verification linked to Bogotá airport's ID card issuance process.

At Bogotá airport, contractor verification was part of an access process with demanding controls. For several years, we performed this verification with Amatia, integrated with ID card issuance. Each review contributed to the operator's process for accrediting access to its facilities. A historical experience in verification and operational integration.

Frequently asked questions

Trust needs evidence, too.

Documentation, risk, performance and people's preparation: discover how to guide contractor follow-up.

Does management end when a contractor submits documents?

Documentation is part of the process. Amatia covers prequalification and contracting, document tracking and contractor performance evaluation in the operation. Its maturity model relates recorded signals to risk and trust, guiding actions and the intensity of follow-up throughout the relationship.

What documents and requirements can we review?

The scope is based on the service, people and operating conditions. It may include onboarding documents, social security records, validity periods and work readiness requirements. We review what is required, who provides each document and how it will be verified; uploading a document is different from completing its review.

Is document review performed by a person or by AI?

Amatia combines the platform with human and AI-assisted document review, according to the contracted scope. We agree on the documents, review criteria and who will address inconsistencies. AI assistance is part of that verification process, within the responsibilities defined for the operation.

What does assessing risk and trust mean?

They are two perspectives on the relationship. Risk directs attention to operational signals; trust considers evidence and consistency built over time. Looking at both helps distinguish situations: an established contractor may need attention after a recent event, while a new one needs follow-up to understand its performance.

Does a new contractor start with a poor rating?

No. A new contractor starts in a central position, with the assessment still open. Being new is not a penalty: the assessment updates with the signals and their context. This builds an evidence-based picture without turning a lack of history into a negative conclusion about performance.

What happens with delays, omissions and inconsistencies?

The model considers available records as well as delays, missing information and inconsistencies. These signals are interpreted in the relationship's context and may change with new evidence. The aim is to help the team identify where to review, request clarification or increase follow-up, rather than looking only at submitted documents.

Does a good track record automatically offset a recent event?

A long track record does not automatically neutralize a new event. The assessment updates with signals and context, so follow-up also responds to what is happening now. This helps identify situations requiring attention even in established relationships and review progress in addressing them.

Does the model automatically approve or reject a contractor?

The model guides follow-up through an assessment of risk and trust. The responsible team uses that information alongside its requirements and criteria to decide. Responsibilities and how situations will be handled are established during implementation; a position in the model provides context for the decision.

How does the assessment become concrete actions?

The risk and trust assessment helps define what to review, what commitments to request and how closely to follow them. An inconsistency may require document clarification, while an operational event may lead to actions and evidence of response. Follow-up lets the team review new information in the context of the relationship.

Can it connect to authorization to enter a facility?

Amatia includes requirements-based access control and authorization. In a historical experience at Bogotá airport, document verification integrated with ID card issuance. For another facility, the existing access system, criteria and required integration are reviewed before defining the scope.

Can we connect verification to induction and certifications?

Yes. Training management connects to contractor needs through induction, refresher training and certifications. This lets you consider people's preparation alongside requirements for working in the operation. Content, evidence and criteria are agreed according to the activities they will perform.

What information should we gather to get started?

It helps to have contractor and service types, the requirements you currently verify, review owners and the documents used. We also review how you manage validity periods, inconsistencies, training and access. Together, we define which processes to prioritize and which verification tasks your team or Unydos will handle.
